Information about upcoming traffic impacts will be posted on the project website as details become available. Motorists can expect road, ramp, bridge and lane closures during construction. There will be weekend closures on Hwy 12 between Central Ave. (Co. Rd. 101) and I-494 before Memorial Day or after Labor Day. Click here for more information.
Lane Closures
Late April through November: Hwy 12 is reduced to two lanes in both directions between Gleason Lake Rd. and I-494
Expect intermittent overnight lane closures on Hwy 12 in both directions between Shoreline Dr. and I-494
Ramp Closures
Early August through mid-October: The following ramps are closed:
- Northbound Shoreline Dr. (Co. Rd. 15) to eastbound Hwy 12
- Eastbound Hwy 12 to/from Central Ave. (Co. Rd. 101)
- Eastbound Hwy 12 to Central Ave. (Co. Rd. 101) detour: Eastbound Hwy 12 to northbound Carlson Pkwy. to westbound Hwy 12 to Central Ave. (PNG)
- Central Ave. (Co. Rd. 101) to eastbound Hwy 12 detour: Wayzata Blvd. to eastbound Hwy 12 (PNG)
- The ramp from westbound Hwy 12 to northbound Gleason Lake Rd. is closed
- Detour: Southbound Central Ave. to eastbound Wayzata Blvd. to Gleason Lake Rd.
Road closures
- Wayzata Blvd. is closed between Gleason Lake Rd. and Parkers Lake Rd.
- Detour: Gleason Lake Rd. and Parkers Lake Rd. (PNG)
- Business detour (Sept. 8-15): All business accesses will use Carlson Pwky./Twelve Oaks Dr. (PNG)
